{"id":1318,"date":"2023-01-17T02:40:18","date_gmt":"2023-01-17T02:40:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dianacardonanutricionista.com\/?p=1318"},"modified":"2023-01-17T02:40:19","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T02:40:19","slug":"15-de-febrero-dia-internacional-contra-el-cancer-infantil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dianacardonanutricionista.com\/index.php\/2023\/01\/17\/15-de-febrero-dia-internacional-contra-el-cancer-infantil\/","title":{"rendered":"15 de febrero d\u00eda internacional contra el c\u00e1ncer infantil"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El lema para 2022 es &#8220;Lograr la curaci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer infantil es posible&#8221; .<br \/>\nTodo, absolutamente todo ni\u00f1o con c\u00e1ncer tiene derecho a la vida, al acceso oportuno a los tratamientos, a una educaci\u00f3n y actividades l\u00fadicas de forma conjunta a su proceso de curaci\u00f3n.<br \/>\nEs necesario que los gobiernos de todos los pa\u00edses garanticen una pol\u00edtica de salud p\u00fablica m\u00e1s accesible. Crear programas de diagn\u00f3stico precoz, tratamiento, cuidado paliativos y atenci\u00f3n, mejorando el acceso a los medicamentos y a los tratamientos tecnol\u00f3gicos, ayudando a las familias durante la atenci\u00f3n oncol\u00f3gica y garantizando un desarrollo normal del ni\u00f1o en tratamiento.<br \/>\nEn el 2018, la OMS y St Jude Children&#8217;s Research Hospital, pusieron en marcha la Iniciativa Mundial contra el C\u00e1ncer Infantil, que ofrece a los gobiernos pautas y asistencia t\u00e9cnica para ayudarlos a establecer y mantener programas de calidad contra el c\u00e1ncer infantil. El objetivo de esta ayuda es lograr una tasa de supervivencia de por lo menos el 60% de los ni\u00f1os con c\u00e1ncer para el 2030.<br \/>\nLes comparto algunos datos recientes del c\u00e1ncer en ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as:<br \/>\n\u2022 Es una de las principales causas de mortalidad entre ni\u00f1os y adolescentes en todo el mundo; cada a\u00f1o se diagnostica c\u00e1ncer a aproximadamente 280.000 ni\u00f1os de entre 0 y 19 a\u00f1os.<br \/>\n\u2022 En Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, se estima que al menos 29.000 ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os y adolescentes menores de 19 a\u00f1os resultar\u00e1n afectados por el c\u00e1ncer anualmente.<br \/>\n\u2022 En los pa\u00edses de ingresos altos, m\u00e1s del 80% de los ni\u00f1os afectados de c\u00e1ncer se curan, pero en muchos pa\u00edses de ingresos medianos y bajos la tasa de curaci\u00f3n es de aproximadamente el 20%<br \/>\n\u2022 El impacto del c\u00e1ncer infantil se traduce en a\u00f1os de vida perdidos, en mayores desigualdades y en dificultades econ\u00f3micas.<br \/>\nEs compromiso de todos los entes y de la poblaci\u00f3n en general, colaborar y solidarizarnos con el apoyo a las familias de los ni\u00f1os con este
